Jonathan Adler says "It Gets Better"
Jonathan Adler, interior designer and partner of Simon Doonan, Barney's Creative Ambassador at large, joins the "It Gets Better" campaign. View his video below.

In his recent video for the "It Gets Better" campaign, Jonathan Adler is as bold as the pillows he sits on in his swanky New York penthouse. Adler discusses feeling, “like a freak,” while growing up and how pottery making was not just a creative outlet for him, but also a means of salvation. From his pursuit of that passion, Adler has built a successful career in home décor and a fulfilling life with partner Simon Doonan, columnist, author, and Barney’s brilliant window dresser turned Creative Ambassador at large. His resounding message to LGBT youth is to make it better. Adler also discusses his belief that gay people “are chosen” as creative contributors to the world and urges LGBT youth to be part of that historical tradition through the arts.
