O'Donnell and Rounds were engaged in December of 2011 and married in June of 2012.
O'Donnell's rep tells USA Today that the new adopted baby, named Dakota, was born on January 5th and weighed 5 pounds, 5 ounces.
In January of 2011, O'Donnell, 50, told Dr. Oz on his daytime talk show that Rounds, 41, was trying to get pregnant.
However, after that interview aired, Rounds was diagnosed with desmoids tumors, a rare condition that requires multiple surgeries. And in August, O'Donnell suffered a heart attack.
O'Donnell has four other children with ex-wife, Kelli Carpenter, who she split from in 2007. Three of them are also adopted, and one was born to Kelli in 2002.
