Who Can Enter:

1. Entrants must be legal residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address.

2. Employees of dot429 LLC, their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each are ineligible.

How To Enter:

3. No membership purchase is necessary to enter or win. You can enter once, however, vote for as many people as you like, but only one time. The contest begins on September 1, 2011 at 12:01am, and ends on December 15th, 2011 at 11:59pm.

4. To enter, log onto www.dot429.com, click on the “What Drives You? Contest” icon on the home page, which will send you to the contest page. On the contest page, you will be asked to create a profile if you do not already have one. Follow the instructions on the contest page. Answer the “What Drives You?” questionnaire and encourage your friends and family to vote for your entry. Registered members may vote for other submissions without creating a submission of their own. Entry constitutes an assignment to Sponsors of all intellectual property rights in the entry materials, if any. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for online posting, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation.

5. Sponsors are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsors or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsors are also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsors and will not be returned.
CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel the giveaway if it becomes technically corrupted.

6. On Friday, December 16, 2011, two Grand Prize Winners of the What Drives You? Contest will be chosen by a panel of dot429 judges; additionally, the four members with the highest votes will be named as Runner-up Winners.
All finalists to be judged by the dot429 panel will be featured in the “What Drives You” Newsletter.

The Prize(s):

7. The Grand Prize Winners and a guest of the What Drives You? Contest will be awarded a free trip New York City and entrance to dot429’s Straight Talk in March 2012 (dates to be provided by the end of contest); the details are as follows:

1. Round-trip airfare to and from NYC: Economy class ticket to arrive in NYC for March 2012’s Straight Talk for the winner and guest.
2. Standard Room at the Tribeca Grand (Room and taxes only. Incidental cost will the responsibility of the contest winner; Winner and guest to share room.
3. Entance to dot429’s Straight Talk Conference, held at the Tribeca Grand (including all panels, cocktail hours, and lunches/brunches hosted by dot429) for Winner and Guest.

The Runner-up Winners will be receive free Premium Membership for the 2012 Calender year which includes all, but not limited to: free premium web-site content and free admission to all dot429 regular events.

A dot429 employee will contact the winner of the What Drives You? Contest. If the winner(s) cannot be reached by December 23, 2011, the prize will be awarded to an alternate. If the alternate cannot be reached by noon on January 6, 2012, then the prize will not be awarded.

8. Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners. The winners cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

9. All winners are responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.

10. This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, filing, trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsors are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in the announcement of the prize.

11. By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release Sponsors, their parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsors’ use of entrants’ personal information as described in dot429’s Privacy Policy located at www.dot429.com.
